Currently the following groups/organisations are committed to supporting the Fairtrade bid:
Girlguiding Pennine Division is happy to support the bid for Glossop to become a Fairtrade town. So much so that when they opened their new headquarters at Dinting in July 2006 they pledged to serve only Fairtrade drinks in the building.
Glossop Labour Club is also behind the bid—for some time now they have had a commitment to only use Fairtrade products.
